Wave 105 launches its fundraising campaign

FOLLOWING the success of a fundraising campaign last year, a radio station has decided to launch it again.

Wave 105 has started its Cash for Kids 1,000 Faces event which gets people to pledge to raise £100 by the end of the year.

Each ‘face’ that wishes to raise the money can be an individual, a group, a business or school.

Money can be raised through a range of fundraising activities such as cake baking, sky diving or a sponsored silence.

Wave 105’s managing director Martin Ball, said: ‘1,000 Faces is a simple engaging fundraising idea and we were delighted to have beaten our £100,000 target for 2016.

‘Due to its success we are bringing it back for 2017.

‘We are optimistic we will once again raise much-needed funds for children’s charities and individuals across the south.’

Anyone who wants to take part in becoming one of Wave 105’s 1,000 Faces can find more information about the appeal online at their website wave105.com/faces.
