Hide AdThe Met Office has now issued its forecast for Christmas Eve and December 25.
It has also put out a yellow weather warning for wind for Boxing Day and December 27. If a yellow-level warning is issued it means disruption may be possible.
Here is what is being forecast for over Christmas:
Christmas Eve
Portsmouth: It will be a clear day in Portsmouth with highs of 6C and lows of 0C.
Gosport: It will be clear in Gosport on Christmas Eve, with highs of 6C and lows of 1C.

Fareham: It will be clear in Fareham on Christmas Eve, with highs of 5C and lows of 0C.

A yellow weather warning is in place across the Portsmouth area from 3pm on Boxing Day until noon on December 27.
On the Met Office’s website it says: ‘Very windy weather is expected for parts of England, Wales and the far south of Scotland, leading to disruption to transport and utilities.

Hide Ad‘Road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible.
‘Some roads and bridges may close. Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
‘Injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.
‘Some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, could happen.’
