Portsmouth weather: City is due some rain this weekend - but sunny spells promised as pubs reopen

AS the forecast predicts mixed weather over Portsmouth this weekend, residents have their fingers crossed rain won’t spoil pubs’ outdoor service reopening next week.

A weather forecast from the Met Office shows that the weather is due to be a mix of rain and clear blue skies.

Today will see sunny spells throughout the day, with highs of 12C and lows of 4C.

On Saturday, a 50 per cent change of rain is forecast from 10am to 2pm, with the rest of the day remaining overcast.

Sunday will see the city’s weather improve, as sunny spells return at 10am and 7pm.

The temperature will reach 9C during the day, but it will dip to as low as -1C overnight.

Monday sees pubs reopen for outdoor service – and the weather is set to be free of rain across the day.

Clear blue skies are predicted around 10am, while the rest of the day will be cloudy with some sunny spells.

The temperature will reach a high of 10C and a nighttime low of 3C.
