Portsmouth weather set for clear blue skies as lockdown restrictions ease next week

AN overcast weekend is set to turn into clear blue skies across Portsmouth at the start of next week, as easing lockdown rules will allow groups to meet outdoors.

A weather forecast from the Met Office shows that the weather is due to remain rain-free throughout the weekend.

Today will experience some light scattered rainfall across the afternoon and early evening.

We’ll experience highs of 10C and lows of 6C.

On Saturday, sunny spells will last until midday, with the whole of Portsmouth set to be overcast for the rest of the day.

The temperature will see highs remain at 10C.

Sunday will see the city remain overcast – but no rain is forecast so far.

But Monday will see an improvement to the weather, with clear blue skies throughout the day.

The good weather is due to arrive just as lockdown rules begin to ease, allowing groups of six people or two households to meet outside.

Golf courses and tennis courts are also due to reopen.
