Sleet to hit parts of Hampshire - here's where it is forecast to fall

SNOW warnings have been issued for parts of the country as winter bites back.

The Met Office has issued yellow alerts for snow and ice for Scotland and Northern England overnight tonight into tomorrow.

While another yellow warning for just snow is in place for central England including Birmingham, Oxford and Hertfordshire.

This alert is in place from midnight to midday on Thursday.

Here’s what the latest Met Office forecast for our area on Thursday:

Waterlooville

Sleet is being forecast for Waterlooville on Thursday morning.

The wintry conditions are being predicted from between 8am and 11am.

So it could impact your morning commute.

There will be highs of 6C and lows of 0C.

Portsmouth

No weather warning is in place for the city on February 27.

However there will be heavy rain overnight which will clear by lunchtime.

There will be highs of 7C and lows of 3C.

Gosport

The Met Office has not issued a weather warning for Gosport.

The current forecast is predicting that there will be heavy rain overnight which will clear by lunchtime.
