Will it snow in Hampshire today? Here is latest Met Office forecast

Heavy snow fell across large parts of Hampshire on Sunday.

Residents in Clanfield, Petersfield and East Meon were among the places to wake up to winter wonderland scenes.

Thundersnow was also reported in Southampton and Winchester after a ‘loud bang’ was heard in the morning.

A yellow Met Office weather warning for ice remains in place for Hampshire until 11am today.

On its website the forecaster warns: ‘Icy patches will likely cause some travel disruption.

‘Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.

‘Icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.’

Portsmouth

Sunny – with highs of 6C and lows of 1C.

Gosport

Sunny – with highs of 6C and lows of 1C.

Fareham

Sunny – with highs of 5C and lows of -1C.

Havant

Sunny – with highs of 5C and lows of -1C.

Waterlooville

Sunny – with highs of 5C and lows of -1C.

Petersfield

Sunny – with highs of 4C and lows of -1C.

Winchester

Sunny – with highs of 5C and lows of -2C.

Andover

Sunny – with highs of 5C and lows of -2C.

Basingstoke

Sunny – with highs of 4C and lows of -1C.
