Will there be thunderstorms in Portsmouth, Gosport, Havant, Waterlooville, Fareham and Hayling Island? Met Office, BBC weather and Accuweather forecasts differ

It is the fourth day so far this week that has been covered by a Met Office yellow alert but the city has yet to see any storms.

Thunderstorm warnings are in place for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as well.

But will we actually see thunder today? The forecasts clash on the answer to that question.

Here is what Met Office, BBC weather and Accuweather are predicting.

Portsmouth

Accuweather is forecasting that there will be thunder at 10am as well as at 1pm, 3pm and 7pm.

BBC Weather is predicting thunderstorms from 1pm until 9pm.

However the Met Office is not forecasting any thunder for today – despite a weather warning being in place.

Gosport

Accuweather is forecasting thunder for Gosport at 10am, 1pm, 3pm and 7pm.

BBC Weather is predicting thunderstorms from 3pm until the end of the day.

However the Met Office is again not forecasting any thunder for Gosport today – despite a weather warning being in place.

Fareham

Accuweather is forecasting that there will be thunder at 10am as well as at 1pm, 3pm and 7pm in Fareham.

BBC Weather is predicting thunderstorms from 2pm until the end of the day.

However the Met Office is not forecasting any thunder for Fareham today – despite a weather warning being in place.

Havant

Accuweather is forecasting thunder for Havant at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 7pm.

BBC Weather is predicting thunderstorms from 2pm until the end of the day.

However the Met Office is not forecasting any thunder for Havant today – despite a weather warning being in place.

Waterlooville

Accuweather is forecasting that there will be thunder at 10am as well as at 1pm, 3pm and 7pm in Waterlooville.

BBC weather is predicting thunderstorms from 2pm until the end of the day.

However the Met Office is not forecasting any thunder for Waterlooville today – despite a weather warning being in place.

Hayling Island

Accuweather is forecasting thunder for Hayling Island at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 7pm.

BBC weather is predicting thunderstorms from 3pm until the end of the day.
