When do my council offices close over Christmas?

Council offices in our region open differently over the festive period, so here's everything you need to know.

Portsmouth

The civic offices will be closed on all festive Bank holidays.

From January 3 2017, the offices will open as usual from 9am-4pm.

Fareham

The reception and telephone will be closed from 5.15pm on Friday December 23 until 8.45am on Tuesday 3 January 2017.

The cash office closes at 4pm on December 23.

Gosport

From December 23, the office will close at 5pm and re-open on January 3 2017 at 9am-5pm.

Winchester

The council offices will be closed on Friday December 23 to Tuesday December 27.

Normal opening hours will resume on December 28 to December 30.

The council offices will close again on Monday January 2. Normal opening hours will recommence on Tuesday January 3.

The offices do not open on weekends.

Havant

The office closes on December 23 at 5.30pm and re-opens on December 27 from 9am to 5.30pm.

The offices will then close on December 30 at 5.30pm. It will then open as usual on January 3 from 9am till 5.30pm.

East Hampshire

The civic offices will be closed on December 23 at 1pm. It will open again on December 28 from 9am-5pm.

It will then close on December 30 at 1pm and opens again on January 3 2017 from 9am-5pm.
