Whiteley firm celebrates prestigious award

The Whiteley-based firm took the title of Best Unified Comms Dealer at the Mobile Industry Awards, which were handed out at a high-profile industry event in London.

The awards, run by Mobile Today, are recognised as a leading national event in the mobile industry calendar and are attended by top international companies and UK firms.

Onecom CEO Darren Ridge said the entry focused on the company’s strong customer relationships, technical innovation, financial growth, staff training and its integrated business communications.

He said: ‘This award represents national recognition for Onecom as the provider to beat when it comes to integrated business communications solutions.

‘As a company, we are renowned for our innovative, streamlined and cost-effective solutions and for our commitment to excellence in customer experience. I am delighted that this has been recognised by our peers in the industry with this award.’

Judges presented the award to the company for its expertise in bringing mobile, landline and internet services together in one package for businesses.

The judges said: ‘A commitment to ensuring every customer has a positive experience was what made this company stand out.

‘This was combined with excellent commercials and a commitment to staff improvement.’

The Mobile Industry Award now sits alongside Onecom’s current title as Vodafone’s Total Communications Partner.

Onecom is also shortlisted for Customer Service Team of the Year in the Comms Business Awards, and is a nomination in the Solent Deals Awards, for the acquisition of Evolve Telecom in 2016.
