Work to improve old footbridge in Bishop's Waltham to get underway
WORK to refurbish an attractive timber footbridge in Bishop's Waltham begins later this month.
Deck planks will be replaced and other parts of the structure at North Pond will be refurbished.
The work will begin on July 25 after discussions between Winchester City Council and Bishop’s Waltham Parish Council.
The total scheme will cost around £47,000 and is due to be completed by September.
