Workers get tattoos

A TEAM of care assistants are getting inked in a bid to raise £1,000 for charity.

Laura Hannam, 22, who works at Brunel Court, in Nutfield Place, Landport, is getting a tattoo on her posterior along with eight colleagues.

It is in aid of Time To Say No, a charity that helps people with anxiety and depression.

Laura said: ‘We’re going to try and raise £1,000.

‘We all thought “what can we do?” and we thought we’re get something a bit outrageous.’

People joining in are: Katie Huntley, Paige Clarke, Stacey Bingham, Julie Bates, Katie Heather, Lauren Burden and Holly Quade. They will be tattooed in July.
