The Harvest Home, in Copnor, hosted the charity day organised by the family of Brandon Young.

Baby Brandon died 21 years ago, aged just three-days-old due to a chromosome abnormality.

In his memory, they hosted the fundraiser on Sunday.

There was a performance by a dance group, a cake sale, raffle, tombola and bouncy castle.

Kayleigh Ball, 32, is Brandon's aunt. She said: '˜It took a little while for the day to get going but it was really good in the end.

'˜People enjoyed themselves and the cake sale, tombola and raffle did really well.

'˜We raised £307 which we were pleased with. We thought it might be less because the weather wasn't great but we are happy with that total.

'˜The Harvest Home were really accommodating and we want to thank everyone who came along.'

The fun day is just one of three events being organised by Brandon's family to raise money for the neo-natal intensive care unit at Queen Alexandra Hospital.

Kayleigh will be leaping off The Drop at the Spinnaker Tower on September 2 and an evening of music is being on October 19.

The evening, at Stamshaw and Tipner Fishing Club, will have a motown singer, a performance from Kayleigh herself as well as a dance performance.
