Vintage cars and fashions at Goodwood Revival 2025 – early bird tickets to weekend event on sale now
The three-day festival is where vintage cars and vintage fashions come together. Goodwood Revival is an immersive celebration of iconic cars and clothing.
Vintage cars, motorcycles and aircraft from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s will all be on display as will the fashions, the style and the music to match! And the VW Split-screen campervan and Alpha Romeos will take centre stage this year.
Re-think, repair and re-wear your retro outfits and cars and enjoy not only superb track racing in some iconic cars but shopping, live music, dancing, fairground rides, cinema and more.
The Goodwood Revival weekend (12-14 September, 2025) takes place at Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex and promises a host of thrilling entertainment across the whole weekend.
Revival Style village returns with expert talks, second-hand and vintage fashion, interactive workshops and the best dressed competition
And, don’t forget, you can even create your own Revival look. The fabulous style of the era celebrated at Revival – honouring the original lifespan of the Goodwood Motor Circuit from 1948-1966 – allows visitors to become a part of the biggest celebration of second-hand style with your own vintage look.

The cars are the stars
This is your opportunity to see some of the most iconic cars from the past put through their paces on the track, with a full schedule of sixteen races which are set to run exclusively on sustainable fuel.
The Alfa Romeo will have special attention this year as the Goodwood Revival brings together a collection of cars from Alfa Romeo’s competitive history to celebrate the centenary of the marque’s victory in the inaugural Manufacturer's World Championship.
Taking place across the weekend, the demonstration will feature Grand Prix cars, sports cars, touring cars and prototypes, including the machines that became renowned for competing at races including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Mille Miglia and Targa Florio. Visitors can expect to see the likes of the first Formula 1 Championship-winning car, the 158 ‘Alfetta’, Tipo 308C, TZ2 and Tipo 33 prototypes - each telling a story of bold innovation and mechanical artistry from 1925 through to1975.
For the Freddie March Memorial Trophy you’ll be transported back to the fabulous ‘50s and see Aston Martin DB3s, Jaguar C-types and Allard J2Xs pack the grid.
The svelte sports cars of the 1960s – like the Lotus 23Bs and Elva Mk7s and Brabham BT5s will be letting their engines roar when they compete in the Madgwick Cup.
Plus, Jenson Button will be returning to the RAC TT Celebration with his own Jaguar E-Type, bought for the occasion, to race alongside a pack of AC Cobras and Jaguars, as he vies for his first win at the Revival. There are bike races, Ferraris, Alfa Romeos and so much more – a fest for all the senses as you watch these superb racecars relive their glory days in the hands of some very skilled drivers. Marvel at the VW parade
Goodwood Revival will celebrate 75 years of everyone’s favourite campervan – the Volkswagen Split Screen in the opening parade. This promises the most varied collection of these Type 2 vehicles in the world
Every year, the Goodwood Revival’s track opening parade brings together an eclectic mix of vehicles which converge on the historic circuit at the start of each day to kick start proceedings. From the event’s largest motorcycle parade in 2023, to the brigade of beach buggies last year, it’s now the turn of the Volkswagen Type 2 Split Screen.
Introduced by Volkswagen in 1950, the Type 2 Split Screen was the marque’s second mass-produced light motor vehicle, manufactured in Wolfsburg for nearly twenty years up until 1967. While many remained as commercial vans, the vehicle’s use and image shifted in the 1960s to embrace holidaymaking with models including the Kombi, Microbus, Samba and Camper introduced. Thus, the Volkswagen ‘Splitties’ became a globally-recognised symbol of freedom and adventure, encouraging drivers to embrace the spirit of the open road.
The Duke of Richmond CBE DL, founder of the Goodwood Revival says: “The Type 2 is more than just an automotive icon; it is a cultural phenomenon, equally at home in campervan form on a hippie encampment or family holiday camp, as a delivery van, or even as a race car transporter. We will be celebrating this variety by bringing together a wonderfully varied collection of VW Type 2s, which will open the track each morning in colourful fashion, and pop up across the Revival site.”
Alongside taking to the track each morning, the classic VW Type 2s will take over the front two rows of the Tax Exempt Classic Car Parking, giving visitors and owners the chance to display their beloved camper in style. Book your space here.
All you need to know
Tickets start from £75, but early birds can save 10%, and there’s half price for young people and kids under 13 go free. Parking is free and there is a shuttle bus service available from and to Chichester train station and easy access to the Circuit via public transport.
