Callum Doran (21) top scored before he became one of Gadd’s two late wickets as Sparsholt lost their last three for just one run in the last over.

Havant openers Harry Gadd (3) and Pete Hopson (20) both fell to Liam Doran, but Richard Hindley (32 not out) and Chris Stone (15 not out) avoided further mishaps.

Havant took their time, eventually winning off the last ball of the 16th over.

First, they were indebted to Dan Stancliffe for smacking 61 off 40 balls after openers Joe Collings-Wells (39) and Srujith Wickramasinghe (30) had shared a 60-run stand.

Jude Tollerfield (3-24) accounted for Collings-Wells and also dismissed De Abreu (7) and Azi Chowdhury (0) in quick succession.

Thanks to Stancliffe, Burridge posted 148-7.

De Abreu ran through Lymington’s top order, dismissing openers Ben Rogers and Terry Crabb and No 3 Ryan Scott en route to 4-15 off four overs.

Abbas (4-24) proved equally deadly - top scorer Gareth Schreuder (27) among his victims - as Lymington were restricted to 102-9 off their 20 overs.
