Allan: We're not down yet
The on-loan midfielder saw the Blues held to a 0-0 draw with their fellow strugglers, as they were unable to find the crucial strike despite laying siege to the visitors’ goal for long periods of the game.
While it was seen as a must-win game for Michael Appleton’s men, Allan knows there are still 30 points up for grabs this season with plenty of struggling teams still to play.

‘We’re just missing that cutting edge a little bit but I don’t think any of the boys could have put any more into the game than they did.
‘We knew how much we needed that win but I don’t think it means “game over” just yet.
‘They were scrambling to keep us out but we just needed that break and if we’d got one it looked like we would have got a few more.

‘But we’ve still got chances to get out of it and we will be ready to go again on Tuesday against Birmingham.’
He added: ‘In football you just never know and you just have to keep battling. It could all change around.’
