Man of the Match; Ben Davies - Attempted to spark second-half fight back with charges down the right and some excellent crosses, but equaliser wouldn’t come.

We want him; Andy Yiadom - An all-action display from the tireless midfielder who was outstanding at both ends of the pitch and a constant menace.

We don’t want him; Mark Randall - Worked hard enough but offered very little to catch the eye in the centre of midfield.

Magic Moment; Adam McGurk’s header from Ben Davies’ cross was pushed over the bar by keeper Jamie Stephens in the best moment of the match for Pompey.

Their Manager; Martin Allen - His side battered Pompey in the first half and then defended superbly after the break.
