The Rocks set out to give Paul Cook and his troops a stiff pre-season test and did exactly that – holding Pompey to a 1-1 draw at Nyewood Lane.

Hide AdThe Blues grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and enjoyed plenty of early possession, with Matt Tubbs netting in the ninth minute.
But the Rocks found an equaliser after the break through former Pompey Academy striker Alfie Rutherford.
The Blues weren’t able to restore their lead, despite a flurry of chances, as the game finished 1-1.
