Clumsy, jaded and devoid of quality - Portsmouth don't deserve to go up

The Pompey world of social media was a pretty dark place to be after the weak 1-0 defeat to Blackpool. Here's a selection of those views.

I'm thinking about my next painting, @masonmount_10 in a @Pompey kit.... #PUP

@jamosfoundation

Clumsy, jaded, artless display totally devoid of quality from Pompey. Team have lost way completely. Even talk of play offs looks fanciful on recent evidence. Blackpool did not have to be that good to win.

7 points in 7 games. The constant persistence to focus on the defensive side of the game is soul sapping. Throw caution to the wind once in a while. We may go on a run, but this happens every season. Hopefully one step closer to a complete overhaul in the summer. #Pompey

@Sammstone10

Thanks Pompey, now I am cooking an even bigger breakfast than normal and later I’ll have to drink more beer and alcohol than normal to try and get over this game

In the 2019-20 & 2020-21 seasons combined: Number of League One matches #Pompey have conceded the first goal in and gone on to win: 0

@mrandrewmoon

Don’t deserve to go up and looking behind. Oxford and Sunderland right behind now and for me play offs looking difficult. We have lost to two very poor teams and not only lost we have played awful in both #pompey

#Pompey are an abysmal product at home and in the second half all together. Ultimately when a team’s defence is set up, Blues are just a series of languid waves slightly brushing against an undisturbed wall. Their inability to create from more than 30 yards or 30 minutes is bad.

@PompeyViking62

Don’t be down #pompey fans. Let’s just get this season out the way, get rid of the Kenny and his team, plus a lot of players who don’t have the bottle. The salary cap removal will make it easier for the new manager to build a squad & fans will be able to return to FP next season

@LukeEllisPUP

Pompey's league record under Jackett is not bad on paper P109 W56 D28 L25 F181 A114 Pts196 (putting aside that he has won none of the games that really mattered) but how many of those games did actually enjoy? How many times did you say win or lose we played really well today?

@bobbeech

You know exactly how bad it is, when the pro Jackett supporters are nowhere to be seen.
