5) A regular penalty taker, Caddis has found the net 13 times in his career, missing just twice.

6) His goal instinct made him a fans’ favourite at Brimingham when his final-day stoppage-time equaliser in the 2-2 draw with Bolton kept the club in the Championship in extraordinary circumstances.

7) Caddis has won one cap for his country, which arrived less than a year ago as a late substitute in Scotland’s 1-0 friendly win over Czech Republic in March 2016 - he has also played for the Scotland’s under-19 team and won 13 caps for the under-21s.

8) His contract with Birmingham was cancelled by mutual consent in late January after falling out of favour under new boss Gianfranco Zola.

9) Caddis has played just once this season in a campaign disrupted by a dislocated shoulder and spent time training with fellow Championship outfit Blackburn recently, although a deal failed to materialise.

10) Mr Versatile, Caddis plays predominantly as a right back but due to his attacking nature, and having two good feet, he can also play at left back and anywhere across the midfield.
