3: He won a football scholarship to Northumbria University, where he featured for Team Northumbria in Northern League division two - winning a league and cup double
4: The defender scored twice for Team Northumbria in a defeat to Newcastle United Reserves in the Northumberland Senior Cup in 2012
5: He then signed for Northern Premier League premier division outfit FC United of Manchester, where he made 45 appearances and scored five goals

Hide Ad6: Davies penned an 18-month deal with Fleetwood but never made a first-team appearance - instead returning to FC United of Manchester on loan before short spells at Alfreton Town, Lincoln City and Southport
7: Last May he was released by Fleetwood and signed for Accrington, where he made his professional debut in a 1-1 draw with Luton Town
8: The 24-year-old scored his one and only goal for Stanley in their 3-2 triumph over Cambridge United in November
