Former Portsmouth defender joins Falkirk

Defender Mustapha Dumbuya has joined Scottish side Falkirk following a successful trial.

The Sierra Leone international was at Fratton Park for Pompey's 2012-13 campaign.

Right-back Dumbuya made 23 appearances during his sole season with the Blues, after impressing on trial.

The 31-year-old had spells at Crawley Town and Notts County after Pompey, before moving to Scotland '“ signing for Patrick Thistle in 2015.

Dumbuya's time at Patrick came to an end earlier this season but he has now earned an eight-week deal with Scottish Championship side Falkirk.

The defender featured in Falkirk's reserve match with Celtic on Tuesday.
