Gary Roberts wins Pompey player of the month vote
Gary Roberts was won your vote to be named The News' Pompey player of the month for September.
The attacking midfielder picked up 42 per cent of the votes cast via portsmouth.co.uk after some standout performances for the Blues.
This included three goals against Crawley, Wycombe and Barnet, respectively, with his effort against the Bees being nominated for the Sky Bet EFL Goal of the Month for September.
Foward Conor Chaplin, who also netted three times last month, came second in the vote with 41 per cent of the share.
Third was Carl Baker, who earned seven per cent of the votes cast.
