Goalkeeper Max Flintoft facing race against time to be fit for Moneyfields' tough trip to Larkhall Athletic
The Moneys boss is still unsure whether he’ll be able to call on the services of the stopper for the Southern League Division One South trip to play-off hopefuls Larkhall Athletic on Wednesday.
Flintoft sustained a finger injury in the warm-up prior to Moneyfields’ defeat at Sholing on Saturday.

He is once again primed to deputise should Flintoft not win his race to be fit.
And Carter is still unsure who will be in goal for his side at Larkhall.
‘We lost our goalkeeper Max Flintoff in the warm-up on Saturday,’ revealed Carter.
‘We’re down to our third goalkeeper of the season.
‘We’re still waiting on the fitness of Max Flintoff.
‘He could be back, it’s only bruising to his finger.

‘He could be available for the game at Larkhall, if not Ellis Grant will go in goal again.
‘Jake Hallett, who we signed as number one from Salisbury, he is only a couple of weeks away from full fitness.’
Moneyfields have struggled for form this season and find themselves third-from-bottom in the table.

But Carter has the belief his troops can start moving up the league and achieve a mid-table finish.
‘There’s still a long, long way to go this season,’ he added.
‘We’ve still got 12 home games to play.
‘We’ve played a lot of away games this season and we’ve got the teams in and around us to play.
‘We’ve played the top teams who are at the top twice.

‘At the moment there’s always something in every game that’s costing us.’
