Hawks defender said side were taught harsh lesson after last-minute defeat

DEFENDER Ryan Woodford admitted the Hawks felt they were mugged by Solihull Borough in today's 1-0 defeat at Westleigh Park.

The visitors snatched a 94th-minute winner in the National League fixture to leave the home side devastated.

Substitute Adi Yusuf knocked the ball in from close-range after goalkeeper Ben Dudzinski blocked a far post shot.

'˜All game I thought we were the better side and did enough to win it.

'Once again though we have competed against a top side and come away with nothing.

'˜We are getting fed up with feeling like this after games.

'˜Once again we have been taught a harsh lesson and all the players are devastated.'

It was a third successive home defeat for the Hawks and leaves them in the bottom four.
