Hawks defender said side were taught harsh lesson after last-minute defeat
DEFENDER Ryan Woodford admitted the Hawks felt they were mugged by Solihull Borough in today's 1-0 defeat at Westleigh Park.
The visitors snatched a 94th-minute winner in the National League fixture to leave the home side devastated.
Substitute Adi Yusuf knocked the ball in from close-range after goalkeeper Ben Dudzinski blocked a far post shot.
Woodford said: '˜We are gutted.
'˜All game I thought we were the better side and did enough to win it.
'Once again though we have competed against a top side and come away with nothing.
'˜We are getting fed up with feeling like this after games.
'˜Once again we have been taught a harsh lesson and all the players are devastated.'
It was a third successive home defeat for the Hawks and leaves them in the bottom four.
