Hawks flying high... Rams routed... Borough beaten

Two second-half goals saw the Hawks maintain their excellent away record with a 2-0 Ryman League premier division win at Harlow Town.

Theo Lewis struck early in the second period with a neat finish and substitute Wes Fogden made sure of the points with another goal two minutes from time.

The Hawks broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute.

Alfie Rutherford picked the ball up and chipped through the middle for Lewis to control before tucking home his shot from 10 yards.

Fogden sealed the win for the Hawks with a second goal in the final minutes.

George Barker put him in at the end of a quick counter-attack and he finished from eight yards.

Bognor, meanwhile, came from behind to claim a point in their Ryman League premier division clash.

After falling behind early on, James Crane headed an equaliser five minutes from time.

Petersfield suffered another heavy defeat at the hands of Royston Town in Southern League division one central.

Four Matt Nolan goals and strikes from Scott Bridges and Rod Orlando-Young did the damage, but the Rams will point to the early dismissal of Harry Giles as the turning point.

To add to their woes, Petersfield substitute Chigozie Agwuegbo missed a late penalty.

Gosport Borough hit more trouble as they slumped to a 4-0 National League South home defeat against Dartford at the Aerial Direct Stadium.

Borough had goalkeeper Mark Chiles stretchered off in the first half and substitute striker Rowan Vine had to take over between the posts.

The play-off chasing visitors took full advantage to romp home.

In the Wessex League premier division AFC Portchester slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Alresford Town after Steve Ramsey put them in front from the penalty spot.

Horndean were held to a 1-1 draw by Andover Town at Five Heads Park.

Fareham Town stormed to a 3-0 win over Bemerton Heath Harlequins at Cams Alders

League leaders Moneyfields remained on course for the title with a 1-0 win at Bashley.

In division one, United Services Portsmouth thumped East Cowes Vics 5-1 at Burnaby Road with Baffins Milton Rovers beaten 4-3 at Shaftesbury.
