1. O’Brien is a former Blues goalkeeper, having previously been at the club between 2008-2010 after signing youth terms from QPR.

2. During his previous spell at Pompey, O’Brien spent time out on loan, making a single appearance for conference side Eastbourne Borough in a 4-0 defeat to Barrow.

3. The keeper has won England youth honours, earning his solitary cap for England under-19s against the Netherlands in 2010.

4. Since departing Fratton Park, the 24-year-old has appeared for Barnet, Hastings United and Dagenham & Redbridge, as well as a brief spell at Brentford, where he failed to make an appearance.

5. After signing for the Daggers in 2014, the stopper made 33 apperances for Dagenham in two seasons. Twenty seven of those came in the last campaign, which ended in him being one of 11 players to be released following the club’s relegation out of the Football League.

Amine Linganzi

1. Lingzani is a Congolese midfielder who has been without a club since his release from Gillingham in March 2015.

2. The 26-year-old has played in England for Blackburn Rovers, Preston, Accrington and Gillingham, before arriving on trial at Pompey earlier in the summer.

3. A product of St Etienne’s youth system, Linganzi has top-flight experience in France, where he made three appearances. In England, he played two Premier League games for Blackburn under current England boss Sam Allardyce.

4. Although Algerian born, Linganzi has represented Congo at senior level four times, with his caps coming between 2008 and 2013.

5. The holding midfielder is well known to Pompey’s staff, having previously played under Blues assistant Leam Richardson during his spell at Accrington.
