Moneyfields confirm departure of manager Callum Glen after approach made

Callum Glen’s 17-month spell as Moneyfields manager is over

Moneyfields have confirmed the departure of manager Callum Glen.

The Isthmian League south central division outfit have revealed the former Petersfield boss has left with immediate effect following an approach from an unnamed Step 3 side.

A former Moneys player who was appointed manager in May 2025, Glen leaves the John Jenkins Stadium club sitting fifth in the table following Saturday’s goalless draw against Westfield.

He guided Moneyfields to their highest-ever league placing last season, with promotion hopes to the Southern League premier ended by Hanworth Villa in the play-offs.

Assisted by Michael Birmingham, assistant manager Neil Tomlinson will take interim charge of the team until a successor is named.

His first game in the hot seat comes on Tuesday night when Moneys take on Liss Athletic in the Russell Cotes Cup.

Moneyfields then travel to Cobham for their next league fixture on Saturday.

‘I’m incredibly grateful to Callum for all the hard work and commitment he’s shown to Moneyfields,’ said director of football Glenn Turnbull.

‘I’ve known him for a long time and always believed he would succeed as a manager. He deserves the chance, and I wish him every success.

‘I was never going to stand in his way as we’ve talked openly about our role in the football pathway, Be that internal to the club or as part of the football pyramid.’
