Moneyfields, Fareham Town and Baffins Milton Rovers all saw scheduled league matches postponed to add to growing frustrations.

Dave Carter’s Moneys were due to take on Basingstoke Town in a Southern League South Division clash at the Winchester City Stadium.

It looked as though the fixture would go ahead, but a heavy deluge less than a couple of hours before kick-off left the playing surface unplayable.

Meanwhile, Fareham Town’s Wessex League Premier Division meeting with Baffins Milton Rovers was also postponed.

The Cams Alders playing surface passed an afternoon inspection, but heavy rain in the evening left the pitch unplayable.

One game to survive the weather is the Hawks’ Hampshire Senior Cup quarter-final encounter with Southampton under-23s at AFC Totton.

Paul Doswell’s side are the current holders and are aiming to reach the semi-final for the fourth time in five seasons.
