The Blues are looking to return to winning ways after Tuesday night’s loss at Barnet followed a draw on the road at Yeovil last weekend.

One point from the last six available has seen Paul Cook’s eighth-placed side fall out of the play-off positions but a win over the U’s tomorrow could see them climb as high as fifth in the table.

The hosts are expected to be without key attacking duo Gary Roberts and Gareth Evans, who are both suffering from hamstring injuries.

Midfielder Danny Hollands is available for selection, though, having recovered from a minor leg break.

Visitors Cambridge, who are managed by former Pompey skipper Shaun Derry, are without ex-Blues midfielder James Dunne following a gentleman’s agreement between the two clubs.

The 26-year-old left Fratton Park in January having been deemed surplus to requirements.
