The Blues made it to the fourth round of the Cup last season before losing 2-1 at home to Premier League AFC Bournemouth.

Boss Paul Cook has made no secret of his desire to reach the third round of the competition and hand the fans another chance to see the Blues against top-flight opponents.

But League Two promotion remains Cook’s bread and butter as he weighs up changes to his side.

Two are enforced in defensive midfield as Amine Linganzi and Michael Doyle are both suspended for the Chairboys clash.

That looks likely to pave the way for homegrown talent Ben Close to partner Danny Rose in the middle of the park.

Adam Buxton also appears to have won the nod from Cook to start at right-back.

Any other changes are less clear-cut, although Curtis Main is absent after his partner gave birth.
