Andy Edwards opened the scoring with Mob levelling through a penalty from debutant Andy Lowley which both sides admitted was a ‘soft’ decision.
Taylor Hanson restored Meon’s lead from a free-kick just before half-time, with Barry Keogh bagging Mob’s second half equaliser.
Mob also handed competitive debuts to ex-Harvest striker Luke Musselwhite and former Clanfield skipper Oli Amos.
