Paul Cook’s men host Newport County later today (3pm).

The Welsh outfit have conceded 19 penalties this term.

If the Blues are awarded a spot-kick, a poll ran by The News has found that 18 per cent of fans feel Evans should take over the duty.

And 17 per cent reckon that Eoin Doyle should be given another chance.

The Irishman was off the pitch last Saturday at the Lamex Stadium when Chaplin missed his penalty.

Doyle missed a penalty at Crawley earlier in the year when the game was at a stalemate.

However Cook insisted that Doyle would carry on with his duty from the 12-yard spot after the game.

A goal would do him the world of confidence having netted just twice since arriving on loan from Preston in January.
