Pompey '˜relaxed' over Hollands and Davies
And chief executive Mark Catlin said the Blues are happy to wait until the players return for pre-season training to continue discussions with Danny Hollands.
Catlin explained the club are taking a ‘relaxed’ stance on negotiations with the pair, who are both out of contract.

Hide AdThe News understands a number of clubs have shown an interest in Davies, who became a big fans’ favourite after arriving from Sheffield United last summer.
However, the full-back has made it clear he is desperate to remain at Fratton Park after an impressive campaign for Paul Cook’s side.
The 35-year-old’s success was seen after he collected a host of player-of-the-year plaudits from fan groups at the end of last season.
It’s a similar story for Hollands, too, whose deal is up after arriving from Charlton in 2014.

Hide AdThe midfielder lives in Fontwell, where he is settled with his wife and family.
And the 30-year-old’s 2015-16 campaign saw him become a central figure in Cook’s plans after starting the season out of the picture.
Only a fractured fibula slowed his progress, with two long unbroken runs of games coming either side of the injury.
Now the wait continues to see what will take place next, with both players’ futures still in the balance.
Catlin explained dialogue is continuing with the duo.

Hide AdHe is not putting a time span on how long that will continue for, however.
‘Talks are ongoing. We’re remaining in constant contact with both Ben and Danny,’ said Catlin.
‘We have to see what happens now over the coming weeks.
‘It’s just a case of seeing what materialises with them.
‘Neither party are putting a definitive timescale on things.
‘We’re not putting a deadline on when it should be that we conclude talks.

Pompey currently have youngster Calvin Davies as their only right-back option for next season, after he was handed a senior deal.
Cook is keen on Sheffield United’s Kieron Freeman, who has been transfer listed at Bramall Lane.

Hide AdThe 24-year-old has a year remaining of his existing deal with the Blades, with negotiations taking place over a pay-off.
Cook has recruited Matt Clarke from Ipswich as part of the deal which saw Adam Webster depart for Portman Road.
Striker Lee Novak is a major target of Cook’s, but wage demands could slow that move.
The manager also wants Chesterfield’s Jay O’Shea.
