Pompey sign right-back
Pompey have snapped up Drew Talbot on a two-year deal.
The attacking right-back last month left League One side Chesterfield after 277 appearances and 19 goals.
At Fratton Park he is reunited with Paul Cook, who he served under during the Spireites’ 2013-14 League Two title-winning campaign.
The Blues turned to the 29-year-old after Walsall’s Jason Demetriou instead opted to make the switch to Southend.
Talbot made 38 appearances for Chesterfield last season.
