Pompey transfer news: Blues eye defender

The Irish-born American is training with the Blues and aiming to earn a contract.

The 22-year-old is currently with Cypriot side Apollon Limassol after returning from a stint with Belgian side Royal Mouscron-Péruwelz.

O’Neill picked up plaudits with MLS side Colorado Rapids before making a move to Europe last year.

As reported in today’s News, Pompey are also monitoring Bradford City striker Steve Davies.
