Noel Hunt is a concern with a tight groin and sat out today’s training session.

Curtis Main is presently training with a head bandage to protect the wound which required 20 stitches and is also rated as a doubt.

That would leave Conor Chaplin and Michael Smith to fight it out for the lone striker spot in Cook’s side.

Definitely missing is Drew Talbot (hamstring).

Meanwhile, Adam Buxton, Jack Whatmough and Brandon Haunstrup are available after injury.

For Barnet, Martin Allen will again be without Michael Gash for the trip to Fratton Park.

The striker damaged knee ligaments last month and is expected to miss the remainder of the campaign.

James Pearson (knee) is also absent, while Gavin Hoyte is back training following a cruciate injury.

But he’s not yet ready to return to the side.

The Bees have John Akinde in attack, the former Pompey forward in fine form with five goals so far.

Another ex-Blues player, Bondz N’Gala, is also set to feature.
