Pompey's Bradford visit under threat

Europe is freezing following the arrival of the 'Beast from the East', bringing with it heavy snow.

Pompey are scheduled to travel to Bradford on Saturday in a League One encounter.

However, it has snowed in West Yorkshire since yesterday - and the weather outlook remains gloomy.

Simon Grayson's side were today forced to call off training ahead of the fixture, with their pitches buried under snow.

At Valley Parade, covers are being used to protect the playing surface.

Yet with more icy weather predicted for Friday night and Saturday morning, there are fears the match could be called off.
