Kenny Jackett revealed the attacking talent will miss tomorrow’s visit of Swindon and the weekend trip to Crewe with a hamstring injury.

The Blues defender is this afternoon undergoing a scan after being forced off in the 2-2 draw with Plymouth on Saturday.

But Jackett is confident the outlook is positive and there won’t be an extended stay on the sidelines for the 29-year-old.

He said: ‘He came off as a precaution really, but I don’t think he’ll be fit for tomorrow or Saturday.

‘I would expect him back at some stage next week.

‘He will have a scan today to see further how it is.

‘It doesn’t look too bad, though, but he’s certainly not going to play against Swindon.

‘It’s a tight hamstring so he’ll get a scan on it, but to play him on the following Tuesday after that would be inviting trouble. Hopefully it settles down after that.’
