It’s coming up to a year since Pompey fans were able to enjoy the full match-day experience.

March 10, 2020 when Fratton Park was last full to the rafters, with the Blues drawing 2-2 with Fleetwood Town.

The coronavirus pandemic has meant all but two of Pompey's subsequent matches have been played behind closed doors.

Supporters were briefly allowed back inside PO4 towards the end of last year.

However, 2,000 fans were restricted to attend, while face masks and social distancing had to be adhered to.

With vaccines being rolled out and Prime Minister Boris Johnson to outline the government’s road map for lockdown-easing plans on February 22, football fans across the country will avidly wait to find out when they’ll be able to attend games again.

It's fair to say we all can’t wait to be packed inside grounds again, singing with friends and enjoying a pre-match pint before kick-off.
