The former Coventry forward has once again be left out of the Blues’ match-day squad – the fourth game in a row the 26-year-old has been overlooked for.

To be fair, some fans on social media are questioning why Kenny Jackett’s decision to go for other options instead of Hiwula continues to baffle some sections of supporters.

For today’s game against Plymouth, Marcus Harness – the only change from Tuesday night’s win against Charlton – comes in for Ryan Williams, with the Aussie joined on the bench by fellow attacking reinforcements George Byers and Ronan Curtis.

However, the majority are left bemused why a striker, who committed his future to Pompey during the January transfer window continues to be snubbed?

He’s a selection of the views shared on Twitter

@lewieboy: Honestly poor bloke signs extension and is no where to be seen again.

@SamuelW76112746: Justice for Hiwula.

@andyworldy: Hiwula is the new Louis Dennis. Twitter thinks he is a world beater when he really isn't.

@MorningPompey: Honest to god how have people decided Hiwula is worthy of a place on the bench?!

You think Kenny and the staff aren’t watching him in training?

You think 10 mins of league football and goals against Kings Lynn and Cheltenham reserves have proven to you that he is needed?

@pfcmccloud: Free Jordy.

@lukehookings: Good side, Hiwula not in the squad again tho Bolton deserved to be in the side again after Tuesday.

@the3rdmitchell: What are the chances of finding out how much money KJ has wasted on Hiwula by resigning him? Clearly not in his plans..…

@evilscotsman666: Jackett will never please all the fans with a team sheet lol how about we stop all the negativity and judge him after the game we still have 90 mins of football to be played. Let's see if his choices are the right ones. Up the blues

@LukeRodhouse: Williams been one our best players this season and gets dropped for an out of form Harness. What a joke.

@PortsmouthBoy: Great Line-up, Come on Boys! Good to see Jacobs getting a chance at the moment, Ronan has to do a lot to get back in this squad! Been absolutely Woeful recently. #PUP
