The Tractor Boys established a first-half lead through Jade Philogene and George Hirst and were comfortable throughout against a Blues side containing five changes, including Josef Bursik in for Ben Killip.
John Mousinho’s men didn’t lose heart, however, and ploughed away, with substitute Marlon Pack heading home a consolation from Swift’s corner in stoppage time to make it 2-1.
And here are our player ratings...

5. Connor Ogilvie - 7
Forced to spend most of his time defending and produced several excellent tackles when under pressure. One awful cross from the left in the dying moments which found the crowd,. Photo: Steve Bailey

6. Andre Dozzell - 6
Received a seventh-minute booking for a poor start to his Portman Road return. Couldn’t stamp his authority of the game, but never stopped chasing or wanting the ball. Photo: Steve Bailey

7. Luke Le Roux - 7
(Replaced by Marlon Pack on 62 minutes) Finally handed his first Blues league start and looked very comfortable. Keeps everything simple and straightforward, while has that handy knack of being in the right place to intercept. First-half booking made him a little vulnerable. Photo: Simon Roe

8. Adrian Segecic - 7
(Replaced by John Swift on 62 minutes) Back in the number 10 role and looks so much more effective there than wide on the right. Lovely first-half ball to Yang which the Spurs man failed to capitalise on. Great energy and passion as ever. Photo: Dan Istitene
