Pompey produced a disappointing performance to slip to a 1-0 defeat at AFC Wimbledon in their last friendly.
Ben Stevenson’s unfortunate own goal separated the sides in a match the Blues struggled to really test the goalkeeper of their League Two opponents.
Having rattled in nine in the previous pre-season fixture against Crawley, it represented a frustratingly evening in many ways, albeit with the inevitable focus on fitness.

5. Connor Ogilvie - 6
(Replaced by Jack Sparkes on 76 minutes) More attacking intent from left-back again evident, but unable to initiate too much down the left flank. Took a strong challenge to the head in the first half, yet got up and brushed it off, as ever. Photo: Jason Brown
Handed the full 90 minutes, along with Towler and Kamara. Handed a holding role with Pack remaining on the bench, he kept things simple, popping up to intercept and using the ball effectively. Likely to be Pack’s deputy in the season ahead, when required. Photo: Jason Brown
(Replaced by Joe Morrell on 76 minutes) While Pack and Morrell are certain starters against Bristol Rovers, Lowery is continuing to push his claims and produced another solid showing. Such a tidy player, often goes unnoticed, but, crucially, couldn’t inspire a Blues team who struggled for creativity throughout against Wimbledon. Photo: Jason Brown
(Replaced by Kusini Yengi on 69 minutes) Intriguingly handed a number 10 role at the start before swapping with Kamara and returning to his customary right-wing role. Very positive on the ball, driving forwards, while fired one first-half shot wide following an excellent team move. Photo: Jason Brown
