Tough start. Fortunate to get a point. @Pompey

@Michael_Eisner

Gareth Evans is a fine versatile pro but he is not the answer to Pompey’s No10 issue. Until it’s solved the team can’t really fire.

@IanDarke

If I was to write a piece on that game, I’d absolutely title it: Blues and Shrews cruise to a snooze. No idea why I’m not rich.

Pompey have some talented players for this division and have played some excellent football under KJ at times. But it's obvious at this point the tactics are holding this team back. His win % is a red herring and we all know it.

One positive was Brown. I’d pick Pring over him any day of the week but at least he tried a few things out of the ordinary today. Johnson couldn’t link up with Harness like he did against Colchester, probably because of the press or that he was given instruction not to be bold.

@PompeyCorner

One game in to 2020/21 season for #Pompey and I’m already missing the close season.

Apathy and lethargy have taken over for the first time in 40 odd years of following Pompey I don’t really care. Burrows Campbell Ball Smith Redknapp Cook all showed passion. Jackett Fenwick Pulis Barker et al nothing at all

#Pompey must be one of the most boring side to watch in the top 3 tiers of English football. So ... so .... boring.. no defined style to our play. No identity. Can’t retain possession. Very Little flair. Occasionally a set piece works, but that’s about it. This is not Pompey

@OliverHarry

Good morning Pompey Twitter! I've had some time to sleep on things, get some distance from yesterday's game, and find some perspective. Therefore, I'd just like to say, with all my heart:#JackettOut

@intheinaka

The thing with Kenny Jackett isn’t the fact he has no philosophy or style of play. He has. And it worked at his other clubs. It just doesn’t now. It looks like it never will either #Pompey
