Blues battler Sean Raggett handed shock Portsmouth outing against Burton

The central defender was substituted late on in last weekend’s 1-0 win at Wigan following a clash of heads, with fears he could be out for the season.

However, he managed to resume training at the end of this week – and starts this afternoon’s encounter with Burton.

As a consequence, there’s one change to the Pompey side as they seek a fifth-straight victory since the Cowley’s arrived at Fratton Park.

Andy Cannon, who netted that DW Stadium winner, is recalled to the team, replacing the injured Michael Jacobs.

There is also a place on the bench for Alfie Stanley following his matchwinner for the reserves against Millwall in the week.
