Blues battler Sean Raggett handed shock Portsmouth outing against Burton
Sean Raggett has been declared fit to face Burton following a suspected fractured cheekbone.
The central defender was substituted late on in last weekend’s 1-0 win at Wigan following a clash of heads, with fears he could be out for the season.
However, he managed to resume training at the end of this week – and starts this afternoon’s encounter with Burton.
As a consequence, there’s one change to the Pompey side as they seek a fifth-straight victory since the Cowley’s arrived at Fratton Park.
Andy Cannon, who netted that DW Stadium winner, is recalled to the team, replacing the injured Michael Jacobs.
There is also a place on the bench for Alfie Stanley, following his matchwinner for the reserves against Millwall in the week.
Pompey: MacGillivray, Johnson, Whatmough, Raggett, Brown, Naylor, Close, Cannon, Harness, Williams, Curtis.
Subs: Ward, Bolton, Nicolaisen, Daniels, Byers, White, Stanley.
