Pompey fans have taken to social media to blast the Blues’ 1-1 draw with Gillingham.

More dropped points at home means that frustration levels grew among the Fratton faithful.

And that annoyance is understandable as Kenny Jackett's side hung on for a draw against a side currently sitting 15th in the table.

With Hull and Peterborough winning, it means Pompey have lost further ground in the race for automatic promotion.

Here's how Blues supporters on Twitter reacted to today's draw and another disappointing day in the race for Championship places...

@jackettsjacket: Can honestly say this past month or so is the worst I've seen us play under Kenny.

No aspect of game in any games recently has been good.

Can't create, can't defend, can't keep possession.

Always being 2nd best against teams down the bottom with them taking game to us.

@TheChief657: Just not good enough at home, another 2 points thrown away and way below par yet again.

@pompey_goals: Not good enough play offs if we are lucky I’m afraid other teams showing they want to go up and are better than us and more equipped. This was a lucky draw.

@peadubya66: BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

If you don't create chances you will get punished for the defensive mistakes.

@CalcuttRobert: Craig MacGillivray is probably Pompey’s best player at the moment, steps up when needed in the final moments once again. #PUP

@jimbopowers91: Players don’t deserve to feel frustrated after that, they haven’t been hard done by, they can only blame themselves.

You can’t win games effortlessly, every single second should be a battle and we’re not doing that.

@SamuelwrCarter: It’s just so boring, isn’t it.

If we get automatic promotion it’ll be completely undeserved.

We’re not doing well creating chances and the chances we do create we can’t finish.

Also constantly conceding through individual mistakes. Not good enough.

@NicolaUpfield: Another two points dropped again. Below par again. Lucky Gills finishing was also below par and we have the best keeper in the league.

@Samalaaar: That was abysmal. Really, really bad.

Probably should have lost. Didn’t create a thing second half, just constantly hoofed it long for their centre backs to win.

Carbon copy of some many games under Jackett.
