The 28-year-old will become the second player to move to Fratton Park from the Stadium of Light in January, after Denver Hume’s £200,000 arrival.

The former Millwall man has bagged six goals in 25 appearances for the Black Cats this season.

He moved to the north east in 2020, after grabbing 34 goals in 125 league starts at The Den.
