Cameron McGeehan recalled for Portsmouth record bid as Sunderland visit Fratton Park
Cameron McGeehan is recalled to Pompey’s side against Sunderland.
The on-loan midfielder replaces Ben Close in the only change to the team which won 2-0 at Lincoln in the week.
Instead Close drops to the bench, with Jackett naming the same match-day 18 on duty at the Imps.
Once again there is no place for Gareth Evans, Oli Hawkins, Paul Downing, Brett Pitman and Brandon Haunstrup.
Meanwhile, Christian Burgess will make his 200th Pompey appearance since joining in the summer of 2015 from Peterborough.
The Blues are today seeking to make it a club record-equalling eight successive victories in all competitions.
Victory over the fifth-placed Black Cats would also enhance their promotion ambition.
Pompey: Bass, Bolton, Burgess, Raggett, Seddon, McGeehan, Naylor, Williams, Cannon, Curtis, Marquis.
Subs: MacGillivray, Harrison, Whatmough, Brown, Close, McCrorie, Harness.
