'Can't knock that... fair play to the owners' - how Portsmouth fans reacted to ticket refund policy

The Blues still had four remaining Fratton Park fixtures – against Accrington, Blackpool, Bristol Rovers and Doncaster – before League One clubs brought the campaign to a premature end on Tuesday.

However, Pompey announced that supporters will be returned 4/23 of the cost of their season ticket.

In terms of how they receive this payment, the Blues are offering three options.

Either credit can used when purchasing future season tickets or match-day tickets, fans can have money returned to their bank account or donate the money to the club to help financially amid the coronavirus crisis.

And the choices have largely been favoured by the Fratton faithful.

The club is literally owned by a billionaire. Why is it even an option for the season ticket money to be given to the club? Under fan ownership I wouldn’t hesitate, But not now.
