The Scotland under-21 international will return to Fratton Park next week after undergoing his rehabilitation at parent-club Rangers.
McCrorie's been sidelined since December 21 when limping off with a recurring hamstring injury in the Blues’ 1-0 win over Ipswich.

The Scottish giants hold the option of recalling McCrorie this month and ending his season-long loan.
But the versatile performer, who’s made 15 appearance so far this term, is set to travel back to the south coast next week to continue his Pompey career.
Blues boss Jackett said: ‘People ask me who we are signing, but we’ve got some really good players to come back out of the treatment room.

Pompey travel to League One basement-side Bolton on Saturday.
They’re boosted by the return of Ryan Williams, who’s missed the past five games with a groin setback.
Jackett added: ‘Obviously (Jack) Whatmough and (Brandon) Haunstrup are back and Ryan Williams is fully fit and will help us after his injury, certainly for this mini run of games.
‘The biggest game is the league game, Bolton on Saturday, followed by the two cup games on Tuesday and the following Saturday.
‘For Lee Brown, I'd think it’ll be sometime in February.’
