Crystal Palace keeper linked with move away amid interest in Portsmouth's Alex Bass

Guaita served as No1 at Selhurst Park for the majority of last term, featuring 35 times as Roy Hodgson’s side finished 14th in the Premier League.

However, there is speculation surrounding the 33-year-old’s future, with reports in Spain claiming he’s wanted by Real Betis.

The Eagles have Wayne Hennessey and ex-Pompey keeper Stephen Henderson as back-up options.

Pompey have Bass tied down to a new contract until the summer of 2023 at the start of the year.

That, therefore, puts them in a strong bargaining position to maximise a return on his talent if they do wish to sell.
